How to treat your bag?

To keep your product beautiful as the years pass, proper Storage Helps Maintain Shape and Ensure Longevity.

All our leather bags & accessoires are handcrafted in our own atelier in Eindhoven.

Each Leather skin is unique, so color differences or vein marks may appear and are natural features. This adds to the charm of this leather luxury item.

Overheating

Avoid rain

Try to avoid contacts with rain and liquids

(like cremes or hand lotions). Leather can be damaged by water and other liquids.

 it’s important to keep your bag dry.

​

If your bag gets wet:

wipe it off with a lint free, light-colored, absorbent cloth and let it air dry away from direct heat sources. Don't put wet leather into direct sunlight to dry either, because that will cause the color to fade.  Never use soap or solvent this wil damage your bag.

​

Keep your bag away from damp or humid environments and avoid direct exposure to sunlight. 

keep your bag away from any direct source of heat, like radiators, irons, stoves, also car interiors overheated by the sun or near a window where it can be exposes to direct sunlight.

Sun can damage the color of the  leather.

You van use leather protection spray, it leaves a protective layer to help protect your bag from water damage, stains, and other types of damage.


Choose the right spray:

There are many different types of leather protection sprays available, so it’s important to choose one that is appropriate for the type of leather you’re treating. Look for a spray that is specifically designed for the type of leather you have, such as suede, nubuck, or smooth leather. 

We are not responsible for damaging your bag after using this.

Nappa leather

 Nappa leather is a supple, soft and smooth type of leather.

This type of leather is usually dyed and made from lamb or sheep skin.

Suède

 Suede has a luxurious look and is made from the underside of the skin. Suede bags can be recognized by the hairy and soft top layer. Bags made of suede are often supple and feel soft.

- Less durable compared to a outer layer leather

Nubuck

Nubuck is similar to suede, but is made from the outside of the skin. Suede, on the other hand, is made from the inside of the skin. Nubuck has a luxurious look and feels strong and soft. This is because the material is sanded to give it a soft and velvety appearance. Nubuck has a better quality, because the skin layer feels thicker and firmer than with suede bags.
